The idea that the modern Republican Party gets any votes at all is insane
Burgess COMMENTARY
I cannot find a 'political home' in the USA. I am in my 80s and almost nothing in the political space seems to reflect reality as I understand it.

But this image says something ... though I wonder how many people who see the image will 'get it'!

In fact I am not sure that my interpretation of the image is actually what was intended.

For the Democrats:
Stable, but with Biden probably not going anywhere of great interst

For the Republicans:
Starting out solid but slow, and going over time to mayhem and chaos

Clearly the Democrats ought to be winners if democracy actually existed and actually worked ... but the idea that Republicans get any votes at all suggests otherwise.

Why is it that my rational analysis is out of sync with what actually happens in elections ?????????
