The Russian 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled artillery gun has allegedly destroyed US-made M777 155mm howitzers in Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry has released a video of the 2S5 Giatsint-S’ crew engaged in counter-battery firing against a Ukrainian unit. This comes a day after Russia claimed its forces destroyed another M777 howitzer near the Podgornoye settlement. The M-777 howitzers were part of an $800m military aid package from the US to Ukraine.
