THE CRUISE BUSINESS What is good for tax avoidance, not good for government assistance!!!!! Peter Burgess COMMENTARY AOC ... Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ... has a better understanding of how the modern American socio-enviro-economic system actually works than most people, and is not shy about calling it out. There are many Republican senators and representatives who may not have the same understanding of how the system works, but they follow a very well crafted Republic script or playbook to get voters in line to vote Republican. The Democrats seem to have little or no ability to get a simple clear uniform message to the electorate so that voters actually know in a very clear simple way what is in their best interest. Voters buy into what the Republcans are saying no matter how unreal the story, but for some reason the Democrats with a much better policy framework simply cannot get their powerful story in play. AOC highlights a lot of the issue that Democrats actually want done in the right way. The Republicans response is the poke fun at her, or worse. She is taunted as a 'socialist' which is sad, because probably 80% of the country's population would benefit substantially from the policies she (and the 'squad') supports. Peter Burgess | ||
