The Next Shock: Food Insecurity Amidst Pandemic and War Center for Global Development 9.25K subscribers ... 8 watching now The world is up against a potentially catastrophic food security crisis. War in Ukraine, the drawn-out COVID-19 pandemic, high inflation, and the ongoing impact of climate change are all exacerbating already unstable food access and causing food prices to grow. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) works with governments to achieve food security for all and make sure that people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active, healthy lives.
