VALUE METRICS
TRANSACTION AGREEMENT UNIT (TAU) > The 'Transaction Agreement Unit' was articulated by Doug MsDavid (see PDF) Open PDF ... TAU-Architecture-Framework-v14v4 Peter Burgess COMMENTARY (from around 2005 Transaction Agreement Unit is the first system proposal I have seen in recent years that was clear about the idea that 'money' had a dual role as a 'unit of account' for both the transaction and the value. This idea can be used more generally in order to have transactions that have multiple impacts and therefore changes in multiple czpitals. Update from around 2020) While the TAU offers some benefits that are not part of the core concept of 'money', the TAU architecture does not seem to address what I see as the core problem with money which is that it does nothing to help account for social transactions, impact and value and environmental transactions, impact and value. These are the issues that are getting to be addressed in the formulation of the TrueValueMetrics, org framework. Peter Burgess | |||||||||
