There are a plethora of ideas to make management easier and more effective. Using alliteration is one technique used to draw attention to possible management tools and tricks.
Dave Robinson has expanded a 3P Model into an 8C model.
However, one of my preferred management approaches has more to do with better linking of the people involved with the operation, whatever it is, with specifics of how the operation functions and how it can be improved. I have been pleasantly surprised by how much wisdom is to be found close to where the problems ... bottlenecks are actually located. In most organizations there is a substantial amount of valuable knowledge at the bottom and a surprisingly large amount of foolishness at the top!
