  • Trump's going to lose can you not do the
  • big reveal before question pretty
  • obvious I mean he's going to lose he's
  • already said that he's fighting for
  • himself and the nation is his how is he
  • going to approach it well I mean first
  • of all he's not fighting for the nation
  • he's obviously fighting for himself in a
  • case that should have been brought three
  • or four years ago when he was the
  • sitting president but the US attorney in
  • the southern district of New York which
  • is the federal attorney elected not to
  • bring the case
  • uh and so Alvin Bragg before the statute
  • of limitations ended with I think more
  • comprehensive facts decided to bring the
  • case and so uh I think it's a very high
  • likelihood he gets convicted in the case
  • and then the issue will be what's the
  • sentence and will there be jail terms or
  • things like that he's the former
  • president so likely not but he's he's
  • not fighting for anybody other than
  • himself and what he did was a direct
  • violation of campaign Finance laws and
  • the failure to disclose all of that and
  • then the hiding of that is also illegal
  • so we we we'll see I'm not in love with
  • 1:09
  • the case me personally I don't like
  • 1:10
  • Donald Trump I certainly don't want him
  • 1:12
  • to return to the presidency because I
  • 1:15
  • just think he's a very dangerous guy but
  • 1:17
  • I'm not in love with the case because it
  • 1:19
  • seems like a minor case to be bringing
  • 1:21
  • when he's got three other cases that I
  • 1:23
  • think are actually Monumental what are
  • 1:25
  • the three cases that you think are more
  • 1:26
  • important well the the the documents
  • 1:29
  • case I think is probably the most
  • 1:31
  • important faass White House docum he
  • 1:35
  • took classified White House documents
  • 1:36
  • lot lots to do with our human
  • 1:38
  • intelligence agents uh he put our agents
  • 1:40
  • at risk around the world he left them in
  • 1:43
  • his bathroom it's very hard to
  • 1:45
  • understand why he did that or what he
  • 1:47
  • did with the
  • 1:48
  • information uh but the complaint if you
  • 1:50
  • read the complaint it's very damning and
  • 1:52
  • it's a direct violation of everything
  • 1:55
  • that he did as president in terms of
  • 1:57
  • taking the oath uh respecting the
  • 1:59
  • institution of the presidency and things
  • 2:01
  • like that that's number one the
  • 2:03
  • Insurrection case I think is arguably
  • 2:06
  • also very important remember he has the
  • 2:09
  • chief Witnesses Mark Meadows in that
  • 2:11
  • case this is a white Southerner who ran
  • 2:14
  • the freedom caucus which is the most
  • 2:16
  • conservative part of the House of
  • 2:19
  • Representatives he's his last Chief of
  • 2:21
  • Staff uh and Mark Meadows claims that he
  • 2:24
  • has Donald Trump on tape fomenting
  • 2:27
  • violence Prosecuting the insurrection
  • 2:30
  • ction uh declaratively saying things
  • 2:33
  • like he didn't care he was indifference
  • 2:35
  • to the potential death of the vice
  • 2:36
  • president which is one of the reasons
  • 2:38
  • why I think vice president Pence among
  • 2:40
  • many reasons is not endorsing president
  • 2:43
  • Trump a good I think that's a very big
  • 2:45
  • case and then then the last case which
  • 2:47
  • uh he got a little bit of a break
  • 2:49
  • because the prosecutor was having an
  • 2:51
  • affair with the other prosecutor but the
  • 2:53
  • last case is the
  • 2:55
  • election uh thievery case he's he's
  • 2:57
  • basically on tape with the secretary
  • 3:00
  • state of Georgia saying hey I need
  • 3:02
  • 11,000 plus votes I need one more vote
  • 3:06
  • than necessary you know one more vote to
  • 3:08
  • win sort of thing let's go back to
  • 3:09
  • Stormy Daniels how long do you think the
  • 3:11
  • trial is going to
  • 3:12
  • last well I mean Trump's goingon to do
  • 3:15
  • everything he can to delay that trial so
  • 3:18
  • if if the trial does start today that's
  • 3:21
  • probably a three or four week trial if
  • 3:24
  • there's no delays but Trump will try to
  • 3:26
  • delay that trial he'll try to find ways
  • 3:28
  • to delay the tri on Earth do you think
  • 3:31
  • there's absolutely no chance that he'll
  • 3:32
  • do that he has said that repeatedly he
  • 3:35
  • said that he would do that with Mueller
  • 3:36
  • when he was sitting president he has
  • 3:38
  • said that so he has a certain Playbook
  • 3:40
  • his Playbook is of course I'll testify
  • 3:43
  • of course I'll testify he has never won
  • 3:46
  • testified uh he's probably got three or
  • 3:48
  • 4,000 lawsuits uh that have been put up
  • 3:51
  • against him from contractors and people
  • 3:54
  • he hasn't paid and he's probably got
  • 3:55
  • three or 4 thousand lawsuits that he's
  • 3:57
  • actually the plaintiff in the lawsuit
  • 4:00
  • he always says he's going to testify he
  • 4:02
  • always says he's going to testify can he
  • 4:03
  • be made to testify uh well he he can't
  • 4:07
  • be made to testify because in the United
  • 4:09
  • States you have the right to remain
  • 4:11
  • silent and you have the right to not
  • 4:12
  • call yourself as a witness and of course
  • 4:14
  • the prosecutor can't call you because
  • 4:16
  • you have the right not to incriminate
  • 4:18
  • yourself just to be a criminal trial
  • 4:20
  • just to be clear I mean the the evidence
  • 4:21
  • in this case will not be salacious
  • 4:23
  • evidence to do with his relationship
  • 4:24
  • with Stormy Daniels because it's a in a
  • 4:26
  • sense a sort of technical prosecution
  • 4:29
  • about how can campaign funds were used
  • 4:31
  • it's not actually about whether or not
  • 4:33
  • he had a relationship with stormy Den he
  • 4:35
  • he broke the law and then he cover he
  • 4:36
  • broke the law and the point making this
  • 4:38
  • is not a a prosecution about him and
  • 4:39
  • Stormy Daniels a PR it's a prosecution
  • 4:42
  • about how money was used I don't like
  • 4:43
  • the case I mean listen I again I I I
  • 4:46
  • don't like him but I don't like the case
  • 4:48
  • it's not it's not the best of the four
  • 4:50
  • cases uh but this guy has a lot of luck
  • 4:52
  • Donald Trump over 50 years he's gotten
  • 4:54
  • away with a lot of interesting things
  • 4:57
  • and the fact that this is the big case
  • 4:59
  • meaning the first case uh is
  • 5:02
  • overshadowing more damning cases so but
  • 5:05
  • it's interesting it's the first it's
  • 5:06
  • funny you say that because I've always
  • 5:08
  • thought that the sort of storm this
  • 5:10
  • trial was the UN unlooked at trial the
  • 5:15
  • overseen not anyway people are not
  • 5:17
  • paying enough attention to it because it
  • 5:18
  • could result in the first proper
  • 5:20
  • conviction and that's significant well I
  • 5:23
  • think it's significant and I think he
  • 5:24
  • does get convicted Alvin Bragg who is an
  • 5:28
  • accomplished attorney would never be
  • 5:30
  • bringing this case if he didn't think he
  • 5:32
  • could convict Donald Trump uh and
  • 5:35
  • remember he's got to be convicted in
  • 5:37
  • front of 12 jurors uh his people will
  • 5:40
  • say well those are jurors in New York
  • 5:41
  • that dislike them it's a left leaning or
  • 5:43
  • a blue state but even still you know you
  • 5:46
  • have a presumption of innocence in a
  • 5:49
  • criminal court case uh but the evidence
  • 5:52
  • is is overwhelming and so he likely gets
  • 5:55
  • convicted you see he could have pled out
  • 5:58
  • on that case and he could have gotten a
  • 6:00
  • fine or he could have gotten some type
  • 6:02
  • of MISD meanor sentence in his
  • 6:04
  • orientation he didn't want to do that he
  • 6:07
  • thought that this was good for him
  • 6:08
  • politically and it has been on the
  • 6:10
  • margin good for him politically he's
  • 6:12
  • raised money off the case he calls it
  • 6:14
  • law fair meaning these are prosecutors
  • 6:17
  • going after him to stop him from
  • 6:19
  • returning to the presidency as opposed
  • 6:21
  • to just the plain and simple fact that
  • 6:23
  • he went over the line and broke the law
  • 6:25
  • and so you know he's raised money uh
  • 6:28
  • it's helped him in the poll if you look
  • 6:30
  • at every time these indictments come
  • 6:32
  • down he ticks up in the polls but he's
  • 6:34
  • ticking up in the polls with a much
  • 6:36
  • smaller group of people so so just for
  • 6:39
  • the UK listeners in the United States
  • 6:42
  • the largest registrant group is the
  • 6:45
  • independent so the parties have fallen
  • 6:47
  • out of favor with the American people
  • 6:50
  • you have 41% of the people registered
  • 6:53
  • now declaring themselves independent low
  • 6:56
  • 30s for the Democrats roughly 32 and a
  • 6:58
  • half percent Republicans now are below
  • 7:01
  • 30% they're at the 28% number and
  • 7:04
  • they're declining uh and this is uh this
  • 7:07
  • is primarily because Trump has hijacked
  • 7:09
  • that party we haven't got long left Anon
  • his prediction on the election
  • 7:11
  • I'm dying to get your view obviously on
  • 7:13
  • the election coming forward because you
  • 7:15
  • everything you're describing lose
  • 7:17
  • Trump's going to lose can you not do the
  • 7:19
  • big reveal before question pretty
  • 7:21
  • obvious I mean he's going to lose if you
  • 7:23
  • want me to just tell me how much just
  • 7:25
  • tell me how much time we have looking at
  • 7:27
  • the clock tell me how much time we have
  • 7:29
  • left very inter social exper we've got
  • 7:30
  • three minutes to tell times list as why
  • 7:32
  • Trump will lose and who knows maybe half
  • 7:34
  • will be disappointed and half will be
  • 7:36
  • happy well I mean Trump's going to lose
  • 7:38
  • for a number of different reasons but
  • 7:40
  • the main reason by way I'm happy about
  • 7:41
  • that his his base is smaller uh it's
  • 7:44
  • louder but it's smaller uh number two he
  • 7:47
  • has no money he can't raise the money
  • 7:49
  • that he used to raise he told a very big
  • 7:51
  • lie about the money that he raised two
  • 7:54
  • weekends ago at John Paulson's house uh
  • 7:57
  • he's being that's the former go head of
  • 7:58
  • Goin uh no John Paulson that's that's
  • 8:00
  • Henry Paulson John Paulson is Paulson
  • 8:03
  • Investments but he's a billionaire hedge
  • 8:04
  • fund manager but but he's going to lose
  • 8:07
  • because he doesn't have the money and
  • 8:08
  • you're getting five field offices for
  • 8:11
  • Joe Biden to every one field office for
  • 8:14
  • Donald Trump in the swing states that
  • 8:16
  • matter to settle the US election uh and
  • 8:19
  • then remember the the last piece here
  • 8:21
  • there's a very large group of former
  • 8:24
  • Republicans that are going to be arguing
  • 8:26
  • the case against him uh and radio is fun
  • 8:29
  • for I'll be doing it in all the swing
  • 8:31
  • States uh explaining to the people I
  • 8:33
  • grew up with because I grew up in a blue
  • 8:35
  • collar family my parents didn't go to
  • 8:37
  • college I'll be explaining to them the
  • 8:39
  • systemic danger of trump and uh he's
  • 8:42
  • going to lose and I did that another
  • 8:44
  • three minutes so you can ask me a
  • 8:45
  • follow-up question if you want yes uh do
  • views on Liz Truss
  • 8:48
  • you know who Liz trust is yeah she
  • 8:50
  • lasted 4.1 scaramucci so I got fired she
  • 8:53
  • has just today said that Trump has to
  • 8:55
  • win the election what's your message to
  • 8:56
  • Liz truss well I mean she's misinformed
  • 8:59
  • she hangs out with Steve Bannon who I
  • 9:01
  • think is probably the most evil person
  • 9:03
  • that's still taking a breath in North
  • 9:06
  • America so I mean she's obviously got
  • 9:08
  • bad judgment but if if you're measuring
  • 9:11
  • time units in politics by 11 days I got
  • 9:13
  • fired by Trump after fighting with him
  • 9:15
  • 11 days in the White House Liz trust
  • 9:18
  • lasted 4.1 scaramucci so I mean she
  • 9:21
  • probably got a really bad judgment to
  • 9:23
  • think that Trump's going to win but I
  • 9:25
  • understand why she's doing that she
  • 9:26
  • wants atten well she wants attention for
  • 9:28
  • herself and she thinks she's a a right
  • 9:31
  • leaning champion of lower taxes and some
  • 9:34
  • of the Trump magga nonsense but you know
  • 9:37
  • look it's just it's just wrong for the
  • 9:38
  • UK it's wrong for America and we've got
  • 9:41
  • to return to something more normal in
  • 9:43
  • our politics Trump's not the
  • 9:45
  • answer uh I've really enjoyed this
  • 9:47
  • interview I think you should run for
  • 9:49
  • politics why do you run for office am I
  • 9:51
  • supposed to call you Lord before I leave
  • 9:54
  • because technically speaking you should
  • 9:56
  • I need to bow down or something like
  • 9:57
  • that CU you know I'm American I don't
  • 9:59
  • understand these cultural you should
  • 10:01
  • really have called me Lord VY not Lord
  • 10:03
  • Vader though Lord and you may you may
  • 10:06
  • get a fine as you leave the country for
  • 10:07
  • failing to do so okay well I'm going to
  • 10:09
  • curtsy on the way out of the studio okay
  • 10:12
  • with my skirt when are you running for
  • 10:14
  • office Anthony scar well my I'm running
  • 10:16
  • for reelection of my marriage yet okay
  • 10:18
  • I'm just trying to stay married okay I
  • 10:19
  • mean I mean you know you know I almost
  • 10:21
  • got divorced during the Trump Fiasco so
  • 10:24
  • uh you we pulled it back together I mean
  • 10:26
  • listen as as far as I know I think I'm
  • 10:29
  • like like a one-day term with my wife
  • 10:30
  • I'm running for reelection every day and
  • 10:33
  • for all I know there could be term
  • 10:34
  • limits that I'm just not fully aware of
  • 10:36
  • but my wife would would probably
  • 10:38
  • castrate me if I ran for office so it's
  • 10:39
  • not gonna be anytime soon Anthony scari
  • 10:42
  • I don't know whether you should have
  • 10:42
  • your own radio show or your own uh
  • 10:45
  • elected office but I hope we'll keep in
  • 10:47
  • regular touch it's sweet sweet of you to
  • 10:49
  • have me here thank you
